HI IM AUDREY ROSE - THE GIRL BEHIND THE ART
Throughout my life, I have experimented and worked in nearly every art medium. Through this experimentation and learning process I have found a distinct love for graphite, ink, acrylic painting and tattooing! In my art you will see the inspiration that I carry from the natural world as well as classical art with many of my pieces studying the complex way the organic world intertwines. Having the ability to create and fill the world with more art every day is a dream and my greatest privilege!
Before moving to Austin, I grew up in Southwest Michigan where my love for art and nature began.
Outside of the studio, I enjoy spending time in nature while traveling and learning about everything the world holds.
WHAT DRIVES HER
When I moved out of my family's home in Michigan, I decided to make a big jump and move to Northwest Arkansas, stopping on the way to adopt my Australian Shepherd Kodak! Growing up with Aussies, it only felt natural continuing my life with one of my own. Once we made it to Arkansas I moved into my first apartment, which (thanks to a mistake from the management company) meant I was the next-door neighbor of my now fiancée! While in Arkansas I continued to experiment in all different art mediums and styles, hoping to eventually be able to pursue art full time! At the same time my then girlfriend (now fiancée) was finishing up school and got a job in Austin, Tx. She asked me to move with her and encouraged me while I worked to pursue art full time. Once we landed in Austin we thought it was only right to get Kodak a brother, River! Since then he has been the sweetest addition to our little family.
